1. Your FAFSA pin number (4 digits long)

2. Details about your loan (amount owed, when the loan was issued and any other loan details)

3. Know ahead of time what loans you want to consolidate

4. Decide what repayment plan you want to do (extended, graduate, income-based, standard, income-contingent)

Remember, you can’t take advantage of low student loan consolidation rates as long as you go to school at least half-time.  Once you fall below half time, you can qualify for these great student loan consolidation rates.
